Shetland Sheepdogs, also known as Shelties,
are the greatest dogs in the world! They are known for their sweet,
loving and loyal personalities. They also have an uncanny ability
to know what you are thinking, probably because they are so intelligent,
and very observant. All of these qualities, plus their willingness
to please, make the Sheltie an excellent choice as a companion.
Shelties excel in herding, obedience, agility, flyball, etc.

All of my dogs live in the house and spend
time interacting with my family, as I believe they should be Companions
first and....even Show Dogs enjoy warming the couch! As I strive
to breed to the ideals of the standard, I like to place extra emphasis
on good Temperament as well as good Health and good Structure. All
of my dogs are screened for genetic disorders prior to breeding,
and I plan 0-2 litters a year.
I am a member in good standing with the CKC, a
member of the ASSA (National Sheltie Club of USA), Past President for
the HCKOC (my local All Breed Club) and Past President of SASSA (Saskatoon
Area Shetland Sheepdog Association).

I am actively involved in local Sheltie
Rescue, doing what is necessary to help out those dear ones, who,
through no fault of their own, have fallen on hard times. To help
defray expenses that may be incurred, I have organized various Fund
Raisers such as Grooming Workshops, Online Auctions, hotdog sales,
etc.
If you feel you have the time and space to help
with Sheltie Rescue, please contact me as Im always looking
for foster homes. I believe the below statement reflects my feeling
the best:
"A breeder who has no
interest in Rescue of what he has produced is of no value to anyone,
and even less value to his breed."
Dr. Malcolm Willis, Genetic
History of the German Shepard Dog.

I hope you enjoy your visit at the internet
home of Sittnpretty Shelties. Please feel free to come back often.
I plan to update regularly.
I welcome your inquiries, and preference is
given to telephone calls.
Sincerely,
